The new Bayer Bitterfeld GmbH packaging facility
Aspirin® containing the active ingredient acetylsalicylic acid is available in a variety of formulations, including an effervescent powder – Aspirin® Effect, which can be taken without water. The product is extremely sensitive to moisture and therefore requires special production technology. 1,000 packs are filled every minute in the new Bayer Bitterfeld GmbH packaging facility operated by Katharina Ulm and Andreas Sommerlatte (left to right).
