More than 30,000 employees came to the BayArena to celebrate Bayer’s 150th anniversary, forming the largest-ever human Bayer cross.

A whole stadium full of birthday guests: 30,000 visitors celebrated "their" Bayer and 150 years of the company's history in the BayArena soccer stadium in Leverkusen. But the celebrations also went around the world and lit up the globe far beyond the boundaries of Bayer's sites. An airship built specially to commemorate the anniversary and a Science Truck carried the Bayer Cross to the world's biggest cities. Several thousand people visited the mobile anniversary exhibition: the interactive show with its colorful "Science For A Better Life" letters gave interested visitors an insight into the world of innovation at Bayer. After all, time and again, Bayer inventions have helped improve people's quality of life.
