research, the Bayer Scientific Magazine, is our lavishly designed magazine featuring articles on popular science topics concerning every aspect of research at Bayer. research is designed to appeal to target groups with an interest in the natural sciences, from students and teachers through to scientists, lecturers, physicians, pharmacists, journalists and politicians.
The print version is published in English, German and soon Portuguese and has a circulation of about 180,000 copies.
The internet website supplements the printed version of the Bayer Scientific Magazine which appears twice a year since 2014. Like the brochure as a whole, the articles in research can be downloaded individually as PDFs. The "Services" button can be used to retrieve more than 30 infographics from our graphics download database. We also offer interdisciplinary teaching materials for teaching staff, which are designed to bring schoolbooks to life. The teaching materials are available as an iBook and PDF and can also be downloaded free of charge from Apple's iBook store. E-mail newsletters with the latest news from the world of research and lists of links to our large variety of topics round off the services available.
research has been investigating topical stories from all areas of research and development at Bayer since 1986. The magazine presents highlights from the company's research pipeline, providing not only an insight into Bayer's laboratories but also presenting the people behind the research. Interviews with and essays by internal and external scientists, attractive photo sequences and lavishly illustrated graphics round off the offer.
